The Toy Library Committee is made up of member parents with diverse skills and interests. But we all have a single focus: managing and improving the Toy Library for all.
Committee members not only help with sharing the load of lots of “behind the scenes work”, i.e. fundraising activities, but also represent the voice of our members and best of all, they often get to try out new toys! If you think you have time or skills to contribute, please consider joining us!
Time Commitment
We realise that everyone is busy with family, work etc., so we only meet about 10 times per year for around 1.5 hours in the evening , usually on the Monday evening. February through to November, 7:30pm-9.00pm.
The amount of time beyond this depends on your role. Other committee members we often suggest to “take charge” of one project per year and then just help others as you have time. Often these jobs can be done from home and in you own time. Committee members are not required to do duties but do run the library session every second Sunday on a rostered basis.
